The
Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) comes with 36 physical security
features, making tampering extremely difficult and easily detectable.
NADRA is also in the process of deploying pre-processing machines where
citizens will conveniently process their Smart card followed by their
fingerprint impressions to prove their identity.
Hence, we are looking
at a future where identity fraud in Pakistan will be completely
eliminated. This is a HUGE milestone..just some of the possibilities
that will be unleashed are as follows: complete elimination of rigging
practices in elections, honest and transparent disbursement of
governmental grants and aids to their deserving, and much more.
