ISLAMABAD:
Secretary Defence Lt. General (retd) Asif Yaseen Malik has said that CIA had provided list of its agents in Pakistan.
Speaking
to media here Friday, defence secretary said US and Britain are against
nuclear assets of Pakistan, adding America is using agencies of other
countries against Pakistan.
Asif Yaseen said Pakistan developed
fresh relations with US on mutual interest basis. US tone towards
Pakistan had changed, he added.

Opinion:
It's very strange that CIA has given the list of its agents working in Pakistan as I suspect that the list might be old one or those agents might be replaced by now because such intelligence agencies never expose these things. But even then Pakistani authorities should take action against them.
We as a nation should help our forces to counter such terrorists and enemies of state. And finally we see that someone from the defense has exposed USA & Britian policy against Pakistan Nuclear assets. Now its time that all the institutions & leaders of the state should take a stand against them & our media should cooperate with them.

GYLC (Pakistan) 2 - Lessons to Remember
From GYLC workshop I have learned many skills but two things which were the crux of that workshop were
- Building Leadership Skills
- Volunteering
LEADERSHIP
Leadership is defined as ''a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task"
Leadership Skills: Leadership mostly involves the following skills....
- Integrity - the most important requirement; without it everything else is for nothing.
- Leading by example - always be seen to be working harder and more determinedly than anyone else.
- Helping alongside your people when they need it.
- Fairness - treating everyone equally and on merit.
- Backing-up and supporting your people.
- Being decisive - even if the decision is to delegate or do nothing if appropriate - but be seen to be making fair and balanced decisions.
- Asking for people's views, but remain neutral and objective.
- Always doing what you say you will do - keeping your promises.
- Taking notes and keeping good records.
- Planning and prioritising.
- Budgeting
- Teamwork
- Managing your time well and helping others to do so too.
- Encouraging your people to grow, to learn and to take on as much as they want to, at a pace they can handle.
VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering: in the sense of carrying out tasks or providing services for individuals or community organizations without financial support and is intended to promote good or improve human quality of life.
How we can volunteer to help others.....
- Community Voluntary Work (Working for the development of community)
- Volunteering in Schools ( Educating students)
- Volunteering in an Emergency ( Helping others e.g first aid, rescuing)
- Environmental Volunteering ( Cleaning streets, houses etc)
- Micro-Volunteering (Volunteering through internet with help of content e.g Blogging etc)

PAK MEDIA- A DIRECTION OR DISTRACTION
There are three main roles of media worldwide whether its print, PR & Advertisement, electronic or social media. Those three functions are
- Information
- Entertainment
- Guidance
According to these three role a media should inform the people in form of news, guide them in form of discussion programs and entertain the public in form of dramas etc. Our media is giving us news, discussion programs & all sort of dramas but whether they are important to us or not the media don't know that. If the trend of morning shows starts, all the entertainment channels starts their own morning shows by putting a face of celebrity, similar is the case with discussion programs & news flashes.
The ticker trend and 1 hour discussion programs are the drug needles that has been injected in our public. From teenagers to elders everyone starts to discuss politics rather than their duties.
If I want to see David Beckham news everyday than why there is always Shahbaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Zardari news 24 /7 on channels.. If I want to know about technology than why there is always crime on our channels.
There is no media gate-keeping in our channels. They broadcast everything to other nations(countries) and then shouts on government that nobody is investing in Pakistan. How can somebody invest in the country where the TV channels are always portraying a dirty image of it?
There are a lot of things which I can explain and will explain with more logic soon!
Remember one thing
ITS PUBLIC WHO DECIDES WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE

My 1st Book Review...
For the first time in my life I read a book apart from my course studies and that book was (Commando 2 ) KASHMIR KA SARFAROOSH written by A Hameed.
The book tells the story of a Commando who spent his life in India and is assigned a very secret mission to accomplish. The commando is caught up many times but still manages to escape as his brain never sleeps and his motivation level is exceptional.
At the end commando completes half of his mission because he had been assigned 1-3 minor missions (which are not actually minor) between his important freed mission of a Pakistani scientist & his daughter.
Reviews:
Although the book is the story of a soldier but it gives you the motivation of struggling, planning & focusing in life and under different situations. The book is involves all the good things like beginning, climax, plot & ending. It keeps the reader interest and grabs the reader.

GYLC PAKISTAN - A flashback
Being alumni of Global Youth Leadership Conference (GYLC) 2012 that was held in Pakistan on 27 may- 30th may , today I finally decided to write a blog on that conference. I was planing to write it before but never find time to do so. But quickly without wasting time of my readers I would like to tell you what is GYLC.....
WHAT IS GYLC
Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) gives high-achieving students a greater understanding of their roles as global ambassadors
while analyzing concepts surrounding communications, diplomacy, law,
human rights, peace, security, economics and the role of the United
Nations. Students return home from GYLC with a greater understanding of
their roles and responsibilities as citizens and future leaders in an
international community.
Each session of the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) is designed to educate, inspire and motivate students by giving them the opportunity to explore cultural differences firsthand, absorb diplomatic skills daily, build confidence and enhance decision-making skills in an exciting atmosphere that is challenging and fun.
The GYLC curriculum was developed by Dr. Marguerite C. Regan, a former high school teacher and social science department chairperson with a doctorate in political science from Purdue University. Dr. Regan has been involved in the creation and development of innovative educational curricula and programs for over 30 years. Under Dr. Regan's direction, the curriculum provides a unique approach to leadership training.

Number of PhDs in Pakistan reach 8142
The Pakistani universities are now able to produce more PhDs in the
next 3 years as compared to last 10 years. The total number of PhDs in
Pakistan has reached the figure of 8,142.
According to the available statistics, the number of PhDs has
increased from 348 (1947 to 2002) to 679 in 2012 in agriculture and
veterinary sciences, from 586 to 1,096 in biological sciences, from 14
to 123 in business education, from merely 21 to 262 in engineering and
technology and from 709 to 1,071 in physical sciences. In social
sciences, the number increased to 887 from 108 during last ten years.
The figures also indicate that during the last decade, special
emphasis has been paid to the disciplines of agriculture and veterinary
science, biological, physical and social sciences, business education,
engineering and technology.
“HEC has so far introduced various scholarship schemes to
create a critical mass of highly qualified human resources in all fields
of studies who conduct research on issues of importance to Pakistan,”
HEC Executive Director Prof. Dr. Sohail H. Naqvi told the media saying
that the production of these PhDs is the harbinger of a great future.
It is to be mentioned that since 1947, a total of 3,281 PhDs were awarded.
However, since the establishment of the HEC in 2002, over 4,850 PhDs have been awarded to-date.

OUR INTOLERANCE
Intolerance is something which is
opposite to the trait of patience and keeping oneself stable in every aspect of
life. Standing in lines to submit our bills we do no tolerate to see other
person to take our place regardless of his age and emergency. Our big hearts
have been shrunken. Most of us still argue on the separation of Pakistan just
because of the problems we are facing today. Rather than solving those issues
together we blame those tribes and political parties that supported separation.
We have lost patience and because of losing it we have also lost the respect
for the country, its independence and sacrifices we made to get separation.
Our intolerant behavior was
undercover before the boom of electronic media but with growing viewership of
media channels we see that our politicians and leaders have also lost their
patience. We see how rudely they talk to each other on different talk shows and
how openly they abuse each other during their press conferences.
Just because our plans do not
work out for us, each one of has started blame game. Children blame their
parents for not giving good facilitations, parents blame their kids for earning
less than their needs, our nation blames our politicians and leaders, our media
blames our security forces and so on.
On traffic signals we never acted
like responsible citizens because we are always in rush to reach our
destinations. We sometimes, not even bother to give space to dying patient
lying in rescue car behind us.
If someone is following a
particular religious sect, he will not like to listen to other sects and their
scholars. We start arguing on the teachings of our sects without seeking
guidance from Holy Quran and Hadith. There are religious riots in the country
only because we have lost the trait of listening each other.
Reasons & Suggestions:
- Everyone is in state of instability because our priorities have been changed. Sometimes I feel that most of us have mental disorders because of our impatience. We don’t like to listen each other which is one of the main reason of our intolerance.
- We also don’t give respect to the opinions and views of other person which is a sign of arrogance and ego.
- We ignore the criticism that is made for our betterment. Our elders try to advice us but we don’t care about their feedback's.
- There is an old saying that Think before you Speak but we never think and plan and that’s why we are treated as uneducated and illiterate nation.
- We are always ready to kill the person who abuses or say anything wrong about our mothers but if the same person says wrong things about our motherland we appreciate him. We can see our patience in this regard.
- Another reason of our intolerance is that we have lost faith in God and our religious teachings. Each one of us knows that Allah Almighty in Holy Quran promises that He is with those who have patience but even then we ignore those verses, which is a big disappointment.

PAK ARMY’s CONTRIBUTIONS IN DEVELOPMENT OF BALOCHISTAN
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sk5Obm6byY&feature=share
Pakistan Army has made important contributions in the development of the Balochistan Province, which include development in all sectors like education, health, mining, provision of jobs in Army, infrastructural development and other socio-economic development. In the field of education, over 17000 Baloch students have been selected for education in various schools and colleges, run by Pak Army and Frontier Corps. Besides, Pak Army is also providing education to over 6500 Baloch students in the schools and colleges of Federal Government administered by Pak Army.
In 2006, Pak Army took initiative to revive Chamalang
Coal Mines project, which was disputed ever since 1980s. After its
resolution under Pak Army, 73500 individuals of Luni and Marri tribes were
provided job opportunities and 2000 individuals were employed as
guards.
The Gawadar Institute of Technology (GIT)
is yet another project, indeed, a joint venture between Balochistan Government
and Pak Army for providing technical education to Balochi youth.
Through yet another joint venture with the
Balochistan Government, Pak Army has established Army Institute of
Mineralogy in May 2011. The project aims at imparting basic knowledge and
mining skills among the Baloch youth for exploiting the local resources and
providing job opportunities too.
This project of technical education aims at
opening the avenues for job opportunities for the youth of the
Province. Since 2007, over 1000 youth of the province have
been given technical training through Baluchistan Institute of Technical
Education (BITE) by Pak Army.
In connection with the induction in Pak
Army, over 12000 Baloch recruits have been enrolled and trained as
combat soldiers in various branches of Army in last 3-5 years.
In August 2011, General Kayani inaugurated, Quetta
Institute of Medical Sciences (QIMS). This non-profitable institute aims at
imparting quality medical education facilities to the youth of Baluchistan.

Wrong perception halting progress of solar panels in Pakistan
Wrong perception about the unreliability of technology is halting the progress of solar panels in Pakistan that needs to be removed in order to promote the solar energy option.
“The general public are led to believe that the technology runs the risk of developing faults,” said Shaaf Mehboob, Director of Green Center.“People need to understand that solar panels aren’t off-the-shelf items. The solar technology is an ‘engineered solution, whose capacity must be in accordance with the expected load,” he maintained.
He said that the likelihood of their batteries running down earlier than expected and the effects of moisture, dirt and rain on solar panels discourage people from investing in clean energy sources.Green Center, a Karachi-based company that offers energy efficient solutions to industrial, commercial and residential customers by doing energy audits and selling energy management equipment.
Mehboob further said that there are no regulations on the alternative energy sector in Pakistan. There is no supervision and quality checks this has resulted in customers losing trust in the solar technology.
He adds that it is the lack of regulation that solar panels of poor quality are being sold in Pakistan. A good quality, Korea-made solar panel can cost up to Rs400 per watt.

From this news i think the solar panel users or customers will not stop buying this solar technology. They will become more conscious about the way the solar technology is used and will also spend time and money on its maintainance.

Karachi Target Killing & Views...
Pasban-i-Tauheed is the organisation who said that they are responsible for the target killing in Karachi, according to the article which was published on Dawn.com yesterday. The article says that Pasban-i-Tauheed publish that on their website Ansarrullah & Babul Islam which is the platform of communication for the terrorist organisations like Al Qaeda, Tehriki-Taliban & Al- Shahab. Pasban-i-Tauheed further admitted that the recent bomb attack on Rangers ( Armed force) was in response to the killing of Al Qaeda leader Moeedd Alias Abu Omer.
Mostly the news of main pages were covered with target killings in Karachi. Orangi Town, Qasba Coloney & Banaras were the areas badly affected by target killings. News said 15people were shot dead, 20 were severely injured and almost 50 vehicles were destroyed. An ASI was killed in Garden Area, two youths of political parties were killed along with 2workers of MQM & ANP.
In my point of view these target killings are done by foreign agencies working in Pakistan and with their killings the political parties & pressure groups are taking advantage by taking revenge from each other. They kill their own people and then hide, when somebody ask them they say we are not involved, Police & Rangers should catch the real criminals. On the other hand, Police & Rangers are already fighting against crime and dont have enough evidences to catch the political people involved in target killings as everything mixes up.
The International Herald Tribune columnist, Zeeshan Mujahid, says that Police submitted a report in Sindh High Court which says that media is giving wrong figures of people killed. The report says that 16people were shot dead in last 24hours, out of which half were due to targety killed and other killings were due to personal & ethinic reasons. Police arrested 7criminals with weapons and Rangers are doing operations separately.
From his column we can also say that media, whose duty to verify the facts and figures and then share it with the public, is also responsible for publishing unauthentic news. The media is also not doing its job properly to support the law enforcing agencies of the country....

AMAZING........God Bless Pakistan
A car which consumes water as its fuel and is 140% more powerful as compared to an ordinary fuel car which gives 91% power to its engine.....
Yes its true! Dr. Ghulam Sarwar, who is citizen of Jehlum (Sarai Alamgir) Pakistan and completed his studies in economy, engineering and transportation from UK, done a successful experiment when he made an engine which uses water as fuel and through which 40000km distance can be covered with 200km/hr speed. According to Dr. Ghulam Sarwar, he did this experiment to overcome the energy crises in Pakistan and he further said that he wants to help the people of Pakistan with his services.Dr. Ghulam made his own engine from his two personal cars. For his experiment he used Toyota Corrola car and extended its body like a Lemozine car after installing 3000 cc engine in it.
Dr. Ghulam said that his engine will not only save the fuel consumption in the country but also help to overcome air pollution as there would be more oxygen coming out of his engine.
He said that if he commercialize the production of his engine kit then it would hardly cost 30000-40000rs.
Its was thought that a fuel car is powerful as compared to other fuel alternatives but with Dr. Ghulam Sarwar's invention this perception will now be changed as his H2O engine is giving more mileage and is lighter for engines to run with.

Laptop with India's Nuclear data lost & not found yet...
Today I read the news about the Indian nuclear scientist who lost his laptop containing blue-print of Kairga Atomic Plant in which that scientist is working. The laptop was stolen from passenger rail car and is still missing raising serious alarm all over India.
According to a report the Indian nuclear researcher raised an alarm when his laptop, reportedly filled with critical data, was stolen on March 15, 2012 and remained missing till date. The scientist who was not named for secrecy and classified works told Police that he had also lost very important credential papers.
For me its not only alarming for Indians but also for neighboring countries as any terrorist group can take advantage of this laptop in spreading terror. The Indian authorities have taken serious action on this issue and have been working on it but they haven't got any clues yet.
For more detailed news visit the following page.... thanks.......

Vote Verification by SMS in Pakistan
I read this news today which says that
The electoral rolls can now be verfied on SMS. The inauguration ceremony of the service took place in ECP secretariat here last.
“By using this service, the eligible voters would be able to send Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number on 8300 and in response, the voter would get the voting details like CNIC No., Electoral Area name, Block Code, Tehsil/District and Serial Number,” an official of the Election Commission said while giving details of the service.
In order to protect the privacy of a voter, the name, parentage and home address would not be shown in the SMS.
A few days ago i registered myself by sending my CNIC no. on 8300 via text and within 5 seconds i received the message having my CNIC no. District name, serial no. my street name and Block code details in it. I was happy and amazed that ECP ( Election Commission of Pakistan) didn't mentioned my house no. & my name in it. So after reading today's news i assure all my fellows that ECP is really doing something for voters of the country and the news is 100% authentic.
This is actually a good step of ECP because this service can be easily availed by everyone through their cell phone. Another thing i want to mention that there are charges of this service i-e when you send text to 8300 they charge you approx. 1 rupee only/-
So mates do not waste your time and register yourself. Being a citizen this is your responsibility for free and fair elections.....

FBI's top Concern
Now the top concern of USA intelligence agency FBI, is the Cyber Threat. The FBI director Robert Mueller told the cyber-security professionals on Thursday (yesterday) that after terrorism now the priority of FBI is to fight against the digital criminals. The FBI director reiterated his testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in January that cyber-threats would surpass terrorism as the country's top concern.
According to FBI director the country is losing a big amount of money and this cyber crime is costing them a lot. The hackers are everywhere and they have to be stopped. For this purpose FBI is seeking help from private companies and businesses to resolve this cyber security issue. Mueller said Cyber-squads in every FBI field office now monitor for crimes ranging from mortgage and health care fraud to child exploitation and terror recruiting.Mueller has taken this initiative of defending the country from digital enemies because USA's lawmakers and federal agencies were wandering who would take that initiative.
Mueller said that if the issue of cyber crime is not resolved then, in near future, there will be only two type of companies left, one who had been hacked and the others who will be hacked.

Solar Energy for villages
Today i have done some research on solar energy in Pakistan and gathered some information and news regarding the solar energy programmes in Pakistan. The Rural Electrification Programme of solar energy has provided solar energy to around 3000 homes in 49 villages of Sindh in the past. Soon Energy Development Board is going to launch another electrification programme for 300 villages in Balochistan.
According to many experts, Pakistan has major potential to generate alternate energy through wind, solar, solid waste and small hydro resources but regrettably no particular consideration has been given in this regard.Pakistan is the 6th most prosperous country in the world where sun-availability is up to 16 hours on average.
There is lot of scope for solar plants in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab but unfortunately two projects for solar power generation, one each in Punjab and Sindh given to the private sector have not taken off. Government should also work on this solar development issue, as we all know that the next war in subcontinent is considered to be far for water. Although such thing will never happen Inshallah but at least we should think and prepare ourselves mentally for anything like that.

PACPAD 1
Few days ago i read a news that Pakistan Air force (PAF) has made a self-version of ipad which they made inside a high-security air force complex that builds jet fighters and weapons systems. It is really a great move of PAF and I appreciate that. The PAC which is producing this product has also been working on E-book and Note-book. The PAC in the name stands for the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.
The tablet and other devices are made in a low-slung facility, daubed in camouflage paint, near, a factory that produces J-17 Thunder fighter jets with Chinese help. The PACPAD is build with a company called Innavtek in a Hong Kong-registered partnership that also builds high-tech parts for the warplanes.During a brief test, The tablet with its 7-inch screen appeared to run well and the screen responsiveness was sharp.
According to sources, a second-generation PACPAD 2 would be launched in the next three months which will be able to connect to the internet via cell phone networks and other improved features. The PAF facility can produce up to 1,000 devices a day.
I think its really a big achievement of PAF, as it not only boost the economy but will also help in regaining the repute of Pakistan for being a developing state. The expected prices of these home made devices are as follow
PacPad... 15,500rs

Cell phone NOKIA C1-01
Recently i bought Nokia c101 after selling a Black berry, Motoral L6 and a chinese set named RIO. Before buying Nokia a friend of mine, from whom i bought it, suggested me that i should try Q-mobiles which are more cheaper in price and have good battery timings. I took Q-Mobile e-400i model and used it for a day. In one day i realized that the set is very economical and is also dual sim with good battery timing and price. Then i went out of my home and do a little research on it as i was amazed and happy too. I went to a mobile shop near my house and asked the mobile dealer about its qualities. The first thing he said to me that
" I don't deal or sale q-mobiles anymore because you can't write the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) name in it. Most of my customers were unhappy so i stopped selling it and send all my stock back to the company"
When i listen that, i was shocked and then thought is that the only reason??? if it is... then why i am using it?? I thought (HUH! you must be lying mate) you and all others are here for business not for promoting truth. Then i came back home and start to think on that dealer's talk.
After few minutes i thought i should try and write Prophet's (SAW) name by myself. When i write then the truth revealed. And my first reaction was like WHAT? SILLY ME!!
And yes the dealer was right, the Prophet's Mohammad (SAW) did not appear on it rather than his (SAW) name a small square box appeared on it. Then i decided that its the time to change the q-mobile set and buy the Nokia. I went back to my friend's shop and told him the story and he said its okay the q-mobile company has realized that problem and asked their distributors, dealers and customers to send those mobiles back to the company for software up-gradation.
But he offered me to buy nokia again which i accepted and was feeling happy to get what i desired (after all that). So i bought nokia c1-01 at a price of 3900 rs. For its specifications i am attaching 2 links which will be very helpful for you (i hope)
